A foreclosure prevention workshop is being offered in the Northwest this Sunday, April 19.

The event, intended for people who may be facing foreclosure, starts at 10 a.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Church, 8650 N. Shannon Rd.

It is sponsored by the Pima County Foreclosure Prevention Coalition and Pima County Interfaith Council. The event is free and open to the public, with registration through 10:30, followed by a welcome and opening remarks.

Participants can learn about crisis budgeting, foreclosure timelines and options, bankruptcy and scams, a release said. Workshops are scheduled on the hour starting at 11 a.m. Questions and answers conclude the session.
