Man killed in collision on Oracle Road in Oro Valley

The Oro Valley Police Department is investigating a fatal vehicle collision, which occurred Saturday, Aug. 11 at 4 p.m.

According to Kara Riley, a spokeswoman for the police department, the incident occured on Oracle Road and First Avenue.

A 62-year-old male on a motorcycle was stopping for a red light on Oracle when he was fatally struck from behind by a white pick-up truck.

OVPD is withholding the name of the deceased until family notifications are made.
