Austin Thacker, a 14-year-old, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Diffused Mature B Cell Lymphoma in April of this year. Money continues to pour in through either fundraisers or donations given to Austin’s Army gofundme website.

On Monday, July 15, the Hooters located on West Ina Road and North Thornydale Road will put on an event to raise money for Austin. A booth will be set up from 5 to 11 p.m. with information about Austin and where people can donate money. Twenty percent of any food sales from 8 to 10 p.m. will be donated to the family.

Donations can also be given at:

 -    Austin Thacker Donation Fund (at any Wells Fargo Bank)

 -    Austin’s Army gofundme page: gofundme.com/2pwoqc
