Join the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona’s “Hunger Walk” 2012 presented by Casino Del Sol Resort on Saturday, Sept. 29, to help make a difference in the fight against hunger in Southern Arizona. Registration is at 8:00 AM and the walk begins at 9:00 AM. The event will start and finish in Sam Lena Park at the Mulcahy YMCA at Kino Community Center, 2805 E. Ajo Way (near Ajo and Country Club). Community Food Bank CEO, Bill Carnegie will be joined by Allison Alexander, Anchor, News 4 Tucson to host the proceedings.

Walk options are:

The Long Walk - (three and one-half miles) around Sam Lena Park, through the Community Food Bank and return.

The Short Walk- (one mile) from Sam Lena Park, through the Community Food Bank and return.

This will be a fun morning with entertainment, clowns, prizes and music for the entire family.

Marana Hunger Walk 2012:

The “Hunger Walk” 2012 registration fee is $10 per person for adults, children under 12 are free. Each adult walker receives a T-shirt and water bottle. T-shirts for children may be purchased for $5.
