Arizona Elks Association

The Arizona Elks Association (AEA) established a state-wide fundraiser for the Yarnell Hill fire victims and requested that all Elks’ lodges in Arizona participate. As a result, Arizona Elks contributed $47,431 to the Yavapai College Foundation Granite Mountain Hotshots Scholarship fund. AEA President Ed Leuer and Treasurer Al Kayal presented a check to Director Paul Kirchgraber of Yavapai College Foundation at an AEA Mid-Year meeting in Tempe. Yavapai College established the scholarship fund to provide financial assistance for beneficiaries of the 19 fallen firefighters to pursue their goal of post-secondary education and training.
