The YMCA of Southern Arizona is celebrating its 100th Anniversary and we would like you to join us.

The YMCA was founded in1914 and we have been committed to fostering physical, mental, and social development with the Tucson community ever since.

At the YMCA it is more than a fitness center. We are place where kids, adults, and families come together to strengthen our community. Every day the dedicated staff enthusiastically strives to help with the betterment of Tucsonians at all stages of their lives. It’s breadth of programs and services stretch from, swimming lessons to diabetes prevention, mentoring and family programming to childcare and elderly support. And of course, we offer state-of-the-art fitness equipment, supportive personal training, and the latest exercise classes.

The YMCA is a nonprofit community-based association of five branches, including a spectacular youth camp and retreat center, program centers and more than a dozen school-based program sites. The YMCA’s impact is felt everyday, in fact we touch one in five Pima County residents through our programs and services each year.

To celebrate our 100th Anniversary the YMCA is offering more benefits than ever before.  You and your family can enjoy: 50-percent off most YMCA programs, free Personal training sessions, full access to all of our swimming pools located throughout Tucson, free group swim sessions, freec child Watch while you workout, and free Family Events throughout the year. Please visit for more details.

We would like to thank all of those who have contributed to the YMCA during the years, and hope you will continue to help us achieve our mission. We don’t turn away anyone to our programs, regardless of their ability to pay. Your continued support will help provide scholarships for sending a child to camp, or getting families the services they need. Every donation makes a difference, and gets us closer to serving the Tucson community for another 100 years.

We encourage you to tour one of our five branches and see for yourself how you and your family can take advantage of what we have to offer.  We look forward to seeing you.
