Want to win an iPad Mini before the holidays? What about a custom-made necklace and bracelet, or a family four pack to visit Out of Africa in Sedona? This year, The Explorer is collecting toys and goodies for the children at the University Medical Center Diamond Children’s Center. The Diamond Center has children of all ages from newborn, to pre-teens, to teenagers who are often overlooked in medical centers.

Donate at the Explorer office and receive a raffle ticket. The winners will be announced in the Dec. 19 edition of The Explorer. One raffle ticket will be given per donation, not per item. Readers are welcome to donate as often as they wish to get more raffle tickets.

Donations can be brought to The Explorer office at 7225 N. Mona Lisa Rd. #125.

Donation Information:

While we are in need of items in all age groups in both English and Spanish, we are in most need of items listed under "Infants," "Toddlers" and "Adolescents" as well as gift cards.  Additionally, the most requested items for each age group are in BOLD.  Of course, we greatly appreciate all donations.

A few quick guidelines:  Please make sure that all toys are new (because of infection control) and paints and glues are non-toxic.  Please do not donate play guns or war toys, latex balloons, scary action figures, candy, gum, or other food.
