Marijuana is a drug that slowing eats the brain. Talk to someone who has smoked pot for years and it's like their lights are on, but no one is home. I know a few people who are long time pot users and over the years they have become paranoid, angry at times over nothing, idiotic, forgetful and more. Pot is not good. I don't think people should go to jail for pot, unless they drive while high or commit a crime while on the stuff. I do however, believe that pot should not be legalized. The long term use of marijuana is proven to be harmful. In closing, I do believe that marijuana should be legal when medically necessary for someone under a doctor's care. That does not mean for a person who is "stressed out" or for some other stupid reason which is only an excuse for getting high. Say no to drugs.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every plant bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, which has seed in its fruit; to you it shall be for food.
This has been the goal of the state's potheads for years. First, get some public support for "medical" marijuana by depicting some ill people or somebody with a back problem who finds pot a way to ease the pain. Push the legislation with this spurious claim. After the public realizes now almost anyone can get a prescription for any real or imagined malady, and you can probably find some pot smoking doctor or libertarian progressive MD to sign off under any and every alleged medical issue. Now that this has been accomplished, they set out to legalize pot altogether, adding the notion that it will bring criminals out of the drug business...not true....and now a new generation of youngsters can feel it is ok to use pot, after all, the politicians, all adults, have given permission. So, we have a nation which embraces drugs, porn, promiscuity, loose morals, homosexuality, vulgarity, and we still....in our national arrogance....want the blessings of God as well. Actually, many people these days no longer even honor God. So...besides plenty of alcohol..we can legalize pot....maybe cocaine and heroin will be the next legal drugs. As a once Christian nation, we are going backwards instead, and with our loose and immoral lifestyles, we will make the pagan Romans of old look like conservatives compared to the mess of our culture today.
