This week, local scout troops and volunteers will gather to pack shoebox gifts for needy kids overseas. These kids hope to pack 200 gifts for other kids just like them around the world, which will be part of the thousands of shoebox gifts to be collected from Tucson-area residents this year.

The event will take place at Great Expectations Academy on Saturday, Nov. 2, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and will include: Kids and local volunteers who have learned what it means to give to others by packing shoebox gifts for those less fortunate.
