A Social Security Administration employee in Baltimore has been reprimand by his supervisor after numerous complaints from coworkers for “uncontrollable flatulence” in the office.

Despite several formal complaints against the man, he continued to do so making the office a "hostile" and "intolerable" work environment for all employees in the surrounding area.

The letter detailed times of the incidents from 17 different date and 60 specific incidents of when the employee passed gas in the workplace. On one particular day, the man released the unpleasant odor nine times.

After an employee confronted him about the problem, the man stated that he would turn on his fan when it happened. His supervisor advised that "turning on the fan would cause the smell to spread and worsen the air quality in the module.”
