Pima County landfills and transfer stations will be closed Monday, Jan. 21

Landfills and transfer stations operated by the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality Solid Waste Division will be closed Monday, Jan. 21 for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

The closure includes landfills in Sahuarita and Ajo, the Tangerine Landfill, and the Catalina and Ryan Field Transfer Stations.

The Solid Waste Administrative Office, 5301 W. Ina Road, also will be closed on Monday.

The landfills and Administrative Office will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 22.

The transfer stations will be open on their normal schedule which is Thursday through Saturday.
