The Tucson Mall is having a Diaper Derby on Saturday, July 19 at the Center Court from 1 to 3 p.m. Parents must donate diapers to register their children and will then receive a number to be pinned to their child’s diaper or outfit. Pre-registration is available by emailing the administrative address, tucsonadmin@ggp.com.

Children will be placed into different groups based on their age, and then placed into heats based upon the number of entrants.

There will be a maximum of six children per race. The winner of each race will receive a “Fastest (Age) Crawler in Tucson” certificate. The 20-foot track will be set up in the Center Court surrounded by tables, displays and samples from various Tucson Mall retailers. Winners will be awarded with fun prizes such as packs including mini Ben's Bells, bumper stickers and Ben’s Bells Kindness Coins.

The diaper derby is about babies “racing” to help babies. The free Tucson Mall event’s diaper donations will benefit the Diaper Bank of Southern Arizona, a local non-profit agency that collects diapers for children and senior citizens in low-income households. Parents and friends can enjoy this fun-filled race while feeling good about giving back to the community.

Entertainment is promised at this unique derby day. Come witness the cutest competition you may ever experience. Join the fun at the Tucson Mall!
