The Northwest Fire District Open House will host an open house at Station 36 on Oct. 6, at 13475 Marana Main St. in Marana. The Open House will feature tours, activities and food

The public is invited to attend an Open House at Northwest Fire District’s Station 36 from 10 a.m. to noon.

During the Open House, residents can meet the local firefighters who serve their neighborhood, tour the fire station, ask questions about the District and its services, teach their kids valuable life safety lessons and enjoy the food and fun.

Fire prevention information will be available including Northwest Fire District’s smoke trailer which allows participants to practice fire escape plans in a simulated smoke environment.
