Drop off your unused prescriptions at Dispose-A-Med

Get rid of your old and unused prescription medications at a Dispose-A-Med event.

Prescription and over-the-counter tablets and capsules will be collected. Metal or glass inhalation aerosol bottles, syringes, liquids and epi-pens will not be accepted. For safety and confidentiality reasons, any items turned over for collection cannot be returned. They cannot accept drugs from commercial organizations.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department will join the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).

The Sheriff’s Department periodically provides opportunities for the proper disposal of unused and/or expired prescription drugs through its Dispose-A-Med program.

Date: Saturday, April 26, 2014

Location: Target, 4040 N. Oracle Road.

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

 

The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
