PCC to host ‘Project Hoodie’ Nov. 15

Pima Community College will, again, host “Project Hoodie,” a community forum on gun laws, racial profiling and criminal justice on Friday at its Downtown Campus.

The panel discussion, “Trayvon Martin:  Do We Look Suspicious?,” is co-sponsored by PCC, the local chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and the Center for Community Dialogue.

PCC hosted “Project Hoodie: A Tucson Conversation on Race” last year following the shooting of Trayvon Martin in Florida.

The community is invited to attend this constructive discussion.

  • Where: Amethyst Room, PCC Downtown Campus, 1255 N. Stone Ave.
  • When: Friday, November 15, 9 - 11 a.m.
