For the second consecutive year, the northwest community showed its appreciation of Studio Dental by recognizing it as Best of the Northwest’s Best Dentist.

Now, staff of Studio Dental is looking to return the gesture with Community Appreciation Day on Saturday, May 3, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

To be hosted at the dental office at 10550 N. La Cañada Dr. Ste. 106, the event will boast free food and drinks, raffle prizes, and special dental offers.

The event is open to the general public and all ages.

“You don’t have to be a patient to participate,” said Athena Storey, DDS. “If you’re looking for a new dentist, or even if you’re not, come on by and see what Studio Dental is all about. The overall goal is to introduce the community to the office and to have some fun at the same time.”

The first 100 people to arrive will be given a free hygiene bag, which includes a toothbrush, toothpaste and floss. Additionally, electric toothbrushes valued at $160 will be raffled off. A number of dental specials will be available for participants, including treatments, cleanings, new patient specials, and whitening.

“Dental care is an important part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and we’d like to emphasize that with this community day,” said Storey.

The entire Studio Dental staff will be in attendance for the event.

“Comfort is a priority amongst patients, and a comfort level with the staff and the dentist is critical in trusting your provider,” said Storey. “This open house will provide an opportunity to build that relationship.”

This is the first year the office has hosted Community Appreciation Day, though it will now become an annual event.

“Oro Valley has been good to us, so we want to be good to Oro Valley,” said Storey, who volunteers much of her time contributing to needs-based dental programs in the community.
