The body of an infant was discovered in a remote desert area northwest of Toltec Road on Interstate 10 early Tuesday morning.
This morning at 5 a.m., detectives from the Pima County Homicide Unit, along with members of the Southern Arizona Rescue Dogs Incorporated searched the area based on information they received from interviews with the infant’s parents.
After the search, detectives discovered what is believed to be the remains of Vanessa Martinez.
