A 10-year-old boy was airlifted to a local hospital Sunday after a near drowning at Ora Mae Harn Distict Park's pool, in Marana.

According to Adam Goldberg, spokesman of the Northwest Fire District, the boy was unconscious in the pool around noon. He was at the bottom of the pool for 1-2 minutes.

The boy is in critical condition, Goldberg said. He's awake but not oriented to his surroundings.
