A few seats remain for the 2017 Oro Valley State of the Town luncheon, hosted by the Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, Oct. 5, at The Hilton El Conquistador Golf and Tennis Resort, 10000 N. Oracle Road.

Mayor Satish Hiremath offers up his eighth assessment of the community’s well-being. A joint color guard from the Oro Valley Police Department and the Golder Ranch Fire District presents the flag. Singers from Ironwood Ridge High School are performing Our National Anthem.

That day, the chamber also presents Oro Valley’s largest business expo, with 50 vendor tables, opening at 10 a.m. in the adjoining Hilton ballroom. Registration starts at 10 a.m., with the doors to lunch open about 11:40 a.m.   

Tickets for the luncheon are priced at $65 per guest. Citrus-glazed salmon is on the menu. To buy, call the Chamber at 297-2191, or go to the website, www.orovalleychamber.com, and click on the State of the Town banner.
