Today, U.S. Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick, D-Ariz., along with 80 Republican and Democratic members of Congress from both chambers, will gather to unveil a legislative reform package and highlight the lawmakers’ goal of finding common ground and taking action.

The Make Government Work package features nine common-sense bills designed to make government more efficient, effective and less wasteful. It is the first legislative package offered by the No Labels Problem Solvers Coalition.

"I’ve often said that bipartisanship is the best way to get things done in Congress,” Kirkpatrick said. “So I’m pleased to be a part of the Problem Solvers Coalition and work with like-minded folks who are focused on results instead of rancor."

I hope this coalition truly works. We need genuine bipartisanship for the good of a country we all love, and we need to make it successful through civility of discourse and consensus.
