Scott McMahon, Cactaceae Collections manager at the Phoenix Desert Garden, will address the Tucson Cactus & Succulent Society’s meeting 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 7, at the Junior League, 2099 E. River Road. 

He will present a talk on Echinocereus, commonly called “hedgehog cacti.”
