It's not too late to register for the third annual High Heels for Hope Bunco Tournament scheduled for Saturday at Heritage Highlands at Dove Mountain, 4949 W. Heritage Club Blvd., in Marana.

The public is invited to participate.

Event coordinator Denisse Bravo is expecting a fun afternoon of fast-rolling dice and friendly competition.

"We are going to have a blast," she said enthusiastically. "And I can't say enough about the people at Heritage Highlands, who have been so helpful and accommodating."

Cash prizes will be awarded to winners. There will be a raffle.

Player check-in will start at 2 p.m. Game play will begin at 3.

Registration is $50, which includes hot and cold finger foods.

High Heels for Hope was created to benefit the community by improving the lives of area families through education and health. The nonprofit organization is run entirely by businesswomen who donate their time and talents.

The bunco tournament raises money to help children by fostering academic and personal growth with different programs in the Marana Unified School District, such as the weekend food backpack and breakfast program.
