A brush fire that led to the burning of three homes in the Town of Oracle has been contained, according to reports from Northwest Fire District Captain Adam Goldberg.

No injuries were reported in the blaze, which consumed about 4 acres.

The fire, for which several jurisdictions were involved in extinguishing, occurred near Oracle Ridge School. Firefighters from Oracle, Northwest Fire District, Golder Ranch, Avra Valley and Picture Rocks were sent to combat the fire on Thursday afternoon.

All homes in the vicinity of the blaze were evacuated.
