Town of Marana

Take the “Surprising Marana” bus tour on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 9 a.m. or noon.

The adventure, offered by the Marana Heritage Conservancy and conducted by John Scheuring, Naturalist, includes the lime kilns along Silverbell, and the bat colony area at the Santa Cruz on Ina Road.

The tour continues with farming in Marana, hot air ballooning, the Prisoner of War Camp, UA Experimental Farm, and much more. Wander through history in the Exhibit Room and visit the elegant Council Chambers at the Civic Center.

With knowledgeable commentary, guests will traverse the many surprising historical sites within the Marana area.
