The 13th annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration will be held this Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Oro Valley Marketplace, 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. The event will be emceed by KOLD News 13 Anchor Dan Marries, and the tree lighting will be conducted by Mayor Satish Hiremath.

The entertainment lineup kicks off at 4:30, and Santa is expected to arrive around 5:45 p.m., right after the lighting of the tree.

This year’s entertainment has been expanded to include adult performance groups such as Tuba Christmas, Sun City Singers and the Two Suite Holiday Trumpet Duet. The event will also feature performances by local school children and a variety of family-friendly activities, including cookie decorating and a fire pit for making s’mores.
