Hold the pickle, hold the lettuce
Harelson Elementary School Principal Andy Heinemann takes one for the team, getting doused with a supersized soda by student council vice president Casey Fetkenhour, left, and treasurer Hayleigh Rockenback, as librarian substitute Mary Elder, right, and the student body look on in glee. The principal agreed to have carnival food poured all over him if the school exceeded its goal of $8,000 in scholastic book sales. The school made $8,105. Last year Heinemann took a pie to the face.
