TPD seeks help locating possible kidnapping victim

The Tucson Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a possible kidnapping victim, 23-year old Marveen Estrada. On May 23, 2013 at about 8:00 p.m., Ms. Estrada was riding in the passenger seat of a vehicle when they pulled into the Quickmart located at 5642 South Alvernon Way. According to a witness, Ms. Estradas’ ex-boyfriend, Ozziel Ramirez blocked their vehicle in with his vehicle, preventing them from leaving the parking lot.

Mr.Ramirez then exited his vehicle with a rag over his hand and implied he had a gun. He ordered Ms. Estrada out of the vehicle and into his. The vehicle then left in an unknown direction.

Marveen Estrada is described as a Hispanic female, 5’3” to 5’4” tall, 120 to 130 pounds, long brown or black hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a purple and black tank top, blue jeans, flat sandals with a back strap and carrying a pink purse. She may be wearing thick-framed black glasses.

Ozziel Ramirez is described as a Hispanic male, 20 years old, 5’9” to 5’11” tall, 150 pounds, black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a white or tan long-sleeved, v-neck thermal shirt. He was driving a dark blue 2006 Audi A4 4-door vehicle with an Arizona license plate of 182847C. Photographs of the Ms. Estrada and Mr. Ramirez are included below. Also included is a photograph of a vehicle similar to Mr. Ramirez vehicle. Anyone with information is urged to contact 911 or 88-CRIME.
