Though Pima Community College’s traditional fall semester began Aug. 28, there still is time to register for a wide variety of courses being taught in two accelerated formats.
PCC’s Late Start classes start Tuesday, Sept. 10 and continue for 14 weeks, as opposed to a traditional 16-week semester. Classes are available in nearly two dozen areas of study, including Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Philosophy, Sociology, Spanish and Writing. Courses are available in traditional classroom settings, or online. Traditional classes typically meet once a week for about three hours or twice a week for about 90 minutes.
PCC also is offering courses in an eight-week session beginning Thursday, Oct. 24. These courses also are available in many areas of study, and are taught in traditional, online, web-classroom hybrid, or self-paced formats.
