Student of the Month: Mario Weiler

Mario Weiler is a dedicated, amazing young man in the sixth grade at Butterfield Elementary school.  If you want to get something done, he is the one to ask. Mario takes on many leadership positions at school all while maintaining excellent grades and a kind, respectful attitude.  He serves his school as a peer mediator, Peace Patrol Leader, morning announcement speaker, and President of the STEM club.  He also serves as an alternate member of the Student Council, plays in the orchestra, and is signing up for after school flag football.   Mario recently received awards for his excellent academic progress, four-star behavior, and for attaining his quarter goal.

Outside of school, Mario plays on the Select Soccer Team for AYSO.  He has played since he was very young.  He attends Catechism at his church.

Mario exemplifies our Positive Behavior Program in and out of school.  He takes ownership in all he does and gives everything his best effort.  He has his priorities and goals ready for his future.  He is on the right track.
