Sesame Street Live!
Hand-colored entries are coming in to The Explorer office at 7225 N. Mona Lisa Road, near Foothills Mall. Two lucky winners will each receive a four-pack of tickets to see the Sesame Street Live stage show at the Tucson Convention Center. Randy Metcalf/The Explorer

The Explorer is giving away two family four-packs of tickets to Sesame Street Live’s “Elmo’s Healthy Heroes!” April 26-27 in the Music Hall at the Tucson Convention Center. Join Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Telly Monster and Zoe’s pet rock Rocco as they help Super Grover regain his superness by using songs and dances to teach healthy habits!

All children have to do to enter is create themselves as a super hero, like Super Grover, and color Super Grover on a special coloring sheet that serves as the entry form.

Parents can print a coloring sheet from The Explorer’s website,, or pick one up from The Explorer office. The entry sheet also can be found in a full-page ad that appears in the March 23 issue of The Explorer.

Only one entry per child will be accepted.

Return the entry to The Explorer office by 5 p.m. Friday, April 8. You can drop off your entry or mail it to: The Explorer, Sesame Street Live Contest, 7225 N. Mona Lisa Road, Suite 125, Tucson, AZ 85741. Mailed entries must be postmarked by April 8, 2011.

Entries will be accepted in two age groups: 5 years and under, and 6 years and up.

A family four-pack of tickets as well as two honorable mentions will be awarded in each age group.

The winning entries will be posted online at and in The Explorer office. Entries are being posted in The Explorer office prior to judging.

Winners will be determined by The Explorer staff. Winners will be notified on or about April 13, 2011.

The odds of winning are determined by the number of entries received.

By entering, the entrant’s parent/guardian agrees to allow The Explorer to use the name and picture of the winners and those receiving honorable mentions.
