The Friends of the Oro Valley Public Library will run its annual spring book sale at the Oro Valley Library, beginning Wednesday, April 10, and running through Saturday, April 13.

On April 10 and April 11, the book sale will be held between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Books will be half priced between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

On Friday, April 12, the sale will be open between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., half price all day; Saturday, April 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. is $5 bag day all day.

This very popular book sale offers dozens of categories of books.  Most books are gently used and all are reasonably priced.

FOVPL was formed in 2001 as a non-profit organization and began raising funds for the Oro Valley Public Library.  Through two annual book sales, two book shops and internet sales, the Friends group raises more than $100,000 a year.

All books that are sold have been donated to the Friends by community members.  All net proceeds benefit the Oro Valley Public Library.
