Be a Hero this Memorial Day weekend and adopt your very own sidekick!

The Humane Society of Southern Arizona is holding a four-day Memorial bash starting at 11 a.m. Friday, May 23. All adult pets will have a waived adoption fee, kittens are 2-for-1 and puppies and single kittens are just $75. You’ll still have to pay $16 to license pups 3 months or older – Heroes are law-abiding citizens!

The main shelter, 3450 N. Kelvin Blvd., is open 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tucson Food Truck Roundup will have trucks out on Saturday to keep up your Hero energy. Special early opening at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 25 and, to make a great holiday weekend, we will be open for adoptions from noon-4 p.m. on Memorial Day, with FREE eegee’s from noon-3 p.m. to keep our heroes cool.

There are thousands of homeless pets in our community. Make a difference in just one life by adopting a pet in need. All pets will go home spayed/neutered, licensed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and equipped with lots of love to share. Besides! Every superhero needs a sidekick.
