The Marana Police Department arrested Raul Ruben Ramos in connection to several commercial burglaries within the Town of Marana, Oro Valley, Sahaurita, and Pima County.

On Thursday, Marana Detectives located Ramos' white Toyota Tacoma in the area of 22nd Street and Interstate 10. With the assistance of the Pima County Sheriff's Department, Oro Valley Police Department, and the Sahuarita Police Department, surviellance was conducted on the truck and Ramos was taken into custody.

During the investigation, Ramos admitted to several burglaries within the Pima County area, to include Oro Valley and Sahaurita.

Since September several commercial burglaries have occurred at strip malls on the Northwest side of Tucson. These burglaries shared similarities in the methods of operation. There have been approximately 50 cases between the multiple jurisdictions.

Ramos was charged with two of the burglaries, one burglary occurring at Nana's Kitchen located at the 8200 Blk of North Courtney Page, and the other burglary occurring in Pima County.

Detectives will be conducting additional follow-up on the remaining cases Ramos is connected to.
