Tortolita Middle School celebrates 30 years


Tortolita Middle School will celebrate the school’s 30th anniversary during a special celebration on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 9:00 a.m.

Celebrating 30 wonderful years of exceeding the standards for dedication and service to the Marana community, Tortolita Middle School will welcome alumni, honored guests, and current families to join them as they take a moment to pause and share remembrances of how the Tortolita community came to be when the school was built and opened in 1983.

Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. with pre-reception and musical performances at 9:20 a.m. The ceremony begins at 10:00 a.m. featuring “History of Tortolita” documentary and special guest speakers. Guests are invited to then enjoy a tour of the campus, a delicious lunch, musical performances, exhibition sporting events, and a picnic/carnival.
