Kristen Linaman, left, a first-year teacher at Ironwood
Elementary in the Marana Unified School District, recently was
awarded a $250 grant from Delta Kappa Gamma Society International
to use toward teacher supplies. Chapter president Gloria Day, who
is a retired MUSD teacher, stopped by the school to present the
check. The Delta Kappa Gamma Society was founded in 1929. It exists
to promote professional and personal growth of women educators and
excellence in education.
