After Pima County Supervisor Ally Miller, District 1, couldn’t get fellow board members to approve more study sessions to review the proposed $1.26 billion with the public, she didn’t quit.

Miller moved to have two more study sessions before the final proposed budget was approved during the May 7 regular meeting. However, the motion died in a 3-2 vote.

Miller, still believing that more discussion is needed, has scheduled a question and answer session on Pima County Administrator Chuck Huckelberry’s proposed budget on Friday, May 17 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The meeting will be held at the Board of Supervisor’s Hearing Room, located at 130 W. Congress.

Besides Miller attending the meeting, Huckelberry and other department heads for the county will be in attendance to answer public questions and concerns.

While the meeting is open to the public, there will not be an open call to the public. All question must be emailed to Miller at, or by calling 724-2738.

Miller has been outspoken about the county’s proposed budget
