Some of those disputing the new board are disgruntled old board members. As a resident, I can say I've never been happier with my community than under this new board. The charges of favoritism fall much more on the old board than the new. Revenue from fines for simple issues is much less now, and residents don't have to worry that their elderly neighbors might have a fine from a weed that looses their house. It is a much closer, happier community under the new board.
It seems to me that it is the so called recall committee who are causing these problems. At the board meeting it was a the woman who is on the town council who called the police for no reason and then precessed to argue with the elderly lady on the board who is 80 something years old and wanted her to go outside to fight with her. How is that for a rep. of Marana town council. This so called committee has done nothing but cause trouble for years. Come on explorer get your facts straight before you print any more articles from these people. I am happy with the board they are doing a good job. So recall committee do not think you are speaking for us because you are not. You are wasting our money and causing our property values to go down.
It seems the usual suspects are causing trouble again. It's ALWAYS the same unhappy people. Something tells me that no matter who is on the board and anything that is done to make these people happy will still fail. Not ALL of us are displeased with the way things are being run right now.
We're always interested in hearing about news in our community. Let us know what's going on!
