Robbery suspect sought by Sheriff's deputies

The Pima County Sheriff's Department is searching for a man believed to have robbed the Chase Bank at 6000 N. Oracle Road, south of W. Orange Grove Road, the morning of Thursday, April 14.

At about 9:30 a.m., the suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. He then left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He was last seen heading north on foot through the parking lot. No weapon was shown or implied.

The suspect is described as an African-American male, about 30 to 40 years old, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and about 180-200 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved, dark green shirt, tan hat, blue jeans and black sneakers.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery or possible identity of the suspect is asked to contact 911 or 88-CRIME.
