Northwest Fire responds to two motorcycle accidents

Northwest Fire District has responded to two motorcycle accidents this morning according to Captain Adam Goldberg.

The first accident occurred at 10:22 a.m. on Picture Rocks and Wade Roads. Where an 82-year-old man was transported by ambulance to the University of Arizona Medical Center for his injuries. He was not wearing a helmet and his motorcycle was the only vehicle involved.

The second motorcycle accident occurred at 11:03 a.m. on Sanders and Avra Valley Roads. A 47-year-old male was airlifted by a helicopter to a local hospital for his critical injuries. The man was wearing a helmet
