Pima Community College’s Downtown Campus is proud to be the site of a drop-in session on Feb. 25 for community members who wish to help Pima County shape its comprehensive plan for the next decade.

The event will be held 2-5 p.m. in the Amethyst Room at Downtown Campus, 1255 N. Stone Ave. Light refreshments will be served.

Pima Prospers is the vision and the name of Pima County’s Comprehensive Plan update effort. This plan will be shaped – with the community’s help – over the next year and used to guide the region’s growth, conservation and community design for decades to come.

Representatives from Pima County’s planning division and The Planning Center will be available to gain your input on how Pima County will:

  • Design a community to meet the needs of future generations
  • Use and conserve our land
  • Manage and conserve water & energy resources
  • Drive our economy
  • Create healthy communities
  • Use existing infrastructure efficiently

Information regarding the plan, its proposed contents and the planning process will be available.
