Helping to relieve stress through the use of a reflexology foot massage, AZ Massage Center, makes it a priority to provide a personalized and relaxing experience for their customers.

Opened in April, AZ Massage Center, which is owned by Jim Sailer, is a state licensed massage therapist. Having owned a couple of businesses previously, Sailer once again has started his own business.

“I was looking for a job that had resilience for the future and I knew that anything pretty much related to healthcare was going to be good,” said Sailer. “People are so health conscious nowadays and a massage is just hand in hand with that.”

People are more health conscious and more accepting of massages, according to Sailer, who says that insurance companies are more on board as well as doctors who are writing prescriptions now for massages.

With those in mind, Sailer sees his business as one that will steadily grow. The massage center offers primarily foot massages, but also back massages. Acupressure is applied to reflex points in the foot in order to relieve tension so that blood flow is more normal, which in turn provides relief and relaxation for a person.

“We are a one-stop massage center, which is convenient for people,” said Sailer. “If someone wants a therapeutic massage, then an appointment is usually needed. For those, we can give customized treatment such as a full-body massage or a shoulder massage.”

Hot stones, sports massage, injury management, deep tissue and aromatherapy are other services that AZ Massage Center offers.

“We offer a personalized approach. I want to make sure that we are a neighborhood business,” said Sailer. “We are easily accessible too.”

AZ Massage Center is located at 1335 W. Lambert Lane by Noble Hops and open seven days a week.
