For kids who love sports, there is plenty to do in Marana this summer. Last week, Marana Parks and Rec held the first summer sports clinic with a flag football session. The five-day clinic taught the basics of playing flag football in a fun and engaging way. Girls and boys ages 6-9 learned the basics like throwing and catching along with more advanced skills, including route running and defense. The department will also host basketball and volleyball clinics, as well as a Pee Wee Sports Camp.
