Fun on the Fourth is back. The Town’s annual Star Spangled Spectacular is coming to Crossroads at Silverbell Park on July 4 with food, fun and a show that will light up the sky with more than 800 fireworks.

The event lasts from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. with fireworks at 9. KOLD’s Dan Marries is the emcee and a country concert featuring the Greg Spivey Band starts at 7 p.m.

“I’m looking forward to doing this,” Spivey said. “It will be good getting out and playing in front of new people instead of playing clubs and bars.”

Spivey’s known for his mix of music and his addition of a little humor in his between song banter.

“It is a family fun night,” Spivey promised. “It is a show for everybody.”

For more information on the event, visit www.marana.com/july 4. The site features an event schedule, list of vendors, map of the park and countdown to the start of the fireworks. Limited parking is available at the park.

Bring your family and friends to the park for a night of free, patriotic entertainment sponsored by Comcast and brought to the community by your Town.
