Platinum award winning jazz vocalist/lyricist, Mark Winkler meets Cheryl Bentyne, member of The Manhattan Transfer, and sparks fly. This duo is intent on proving how cool the West Coast Cool Jazz scene of the 50s still is. Together and separately they perform songs by Dave Brubeck, Chet Baker, Julie London and Bobby Troup and others, all the while weaving in never-before heard stories of the originators of "West Coast Cool." Prepare yourself for an unforgettable evening as these two hipsters send the music down as smoothly as an vodka martini on a warm summer night. This show is definitely a hit!

The duo recently came off of a sold out tour throughout the country, hitting such cities as Toronto, Los Angeles, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Indianapolis where they were greeted with sold out Houses and standing ovations.

One of our stars for July 5, Cheryl Bentyne, is a cancer survivor who lost several years as a performer while battling the disease. She is recovered and a strong supporter of cancer prevention, treatment, finding cures and fighting back. In recognition of Cheryl's brave battle against cancer, and ongoing support for for cancer prevention and research, the American Cancer Society is proud to cosponsor "The West Coast Cool Show."
