Join the party on Tuesday, Dec. 31 to ring in the New Year at the spectacular JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort and Spa.  This event has become a destination for jazz lovers across the country.

The gala features world renowned trumpet player Rick Braun who brings top caliber jazz musician headliners with him each year for this party like no other!  This year he is bringing high energy saxophonist Mindi Abair and Grammy nominated guitarist Norman Brown.

Special guest singer, Elliott Yamin, known for his hit single "Wait for You" and placing third on the fifth season of American Idol, will be joining the headliners to add his contemporary R&B sound to the mix.  There is something for everyone.

Also, back by popular demand, the night's festivities will get started with crowd favorite, the national award winning Tucson Jazz Institute's Ellington Big Band.   Joining them will be Tucson favorite, singer Crystal Stark.

The event will include a five course gourmet dinner, champagne toast and balloon drop at might, dancing, and a one of a kind silent auction where the proceeds will be donated to help families affected by Autism and to support youth music education programs at the Tucson Jazz Institute.

In addition, this year will also include a pre-event evening on Monday, Dec. 30 with another concert at the resort in a more casual atmosphere featuring recording artist Neamen Lyles and Jay Soto.  Tickets for this concert are only available for those attending the gala on New Year's Eve.  The pass code to purchase tickets to the Neamen concert will be provided in the Rick Braun's New Year's Eve ticket email confirmation when purchased.
