Arizona Theatre Brings Oscar Wilde’s “The Importance of Being Earnest” to Tucson

WHAT:   Arizona Theatre Company (ATC) begins its 47th season in Tucson, bringing a fresh new look at Oscar Wilde’s most loved and popular play “The Importance of Being Earnest.”  This romantic comedy features a tangle of love interests, mistaken identities and satirical humor in every scene.

WHO: ATC’s production of “The Importance of Being Earnest” is directed by Stephen Wrentmore. Cast includes Allyce Beasley, Anneliese van der Pol, Heather Marie Cox, Loren Dunn, Mike Lawler, Matt Leisy, Jodie Lynne McClintock and Kate Emma Nienhauser.

WHEN: Sept. 14 – Oct. 5, 2013, various show times Tuesday – Sunday.

WHERE: Temple of Music and Art, 330 S. Scott Avenue.

PRICE: General admission starts at $36. Discounts are available for seniors, active military and groups of 10 or more. Tickets are available at www.arizonatheatre.org and the Temple of Music and Art box office at 622-2823.
