One of Tucson’s newest restaurants, Five Palms Steak and Seafood hosted a special preview night on Feb. 18.
The preview night was about showing off the two-story establishment on 3500 E. Sunrise Drive. Five Palms took over the building that used to be Café Terra Cotta.
With art glass ceilings, plenty of dining rooms slated for parties, special dining occasions and happy hour, Five Palms aims to please a wide variety.
With steak and seafood specialties, Five Palms also has capabilities to host parties with dance floors.
Along with an extensive menu, the new restaurant also has a wine and chocolate store that has become popular with local residents. This store also gives local diners and residents the ability to store bottles of wine in numbered lockers.
Five Palms owner Nino Aidi said the idea to allow wine storage came to him from past establishments and has become popular. When regular diners like a specific wine selection, they can store it, and have it again when they return.
Five Palms offered a variety of appetizers during the preview night, all of which are specially-priced for Happy Hour.
Five Palms opened its doors in February and already appears to be having success with a popular Happy Hour that includes an outdoor view of the entire city.
