Annon & The Late Show performs Thursday, July 10 at 6 p.m. at Oro Valley Marketplace in the Century Theatres Courtyard (outdoor courtyard between Harvest Moon & San Carlos Grill). Admission is free.

Annon & The Late Show is the creation of Roderick Annon. Based out of Tucson, the band plays smooth, Latin-style R&B, such as Carlos Santana, as well as blues and classic music, played in a soulful rhythmic style. They also play their own original music, written by Annon. The band is made up of four members with part-time members added as needed.

Oro Valley and Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance have presented the town’s free music series for two years. Attendees to the Oro Valley Concert Series are encouraged to bring their own chairs to the shows.

“The concert series was such a hit this past spring; the crowds got bigger and bigger at each performance,” said Oro Valley Mayor Satish Hiremath. “I’m pleased to see our unique partnership with SAACA will enable us to continue providing family-friendly entertainment in a community setting at no cost to our residents.”

Performances  support local musicians in steel drums, folk and classic guitar, Latin and classic jazz, boogie woogie piano, blues, country and more.

“SAACA and the Town of Oro Valley have been creating diverse ways to bring the arts to the community for over a decade,” said SAACA Executive Director Kate Marquez. “The increasing number of people attending the Oro Valley Concert Series each month has shown us that the public’s desire to engage in artistic events is continuing to grow.”
