David Sibley

On Monday, April 7, from 1 to 3 p.m., David Sibley will be signing copies of his new Sibley Guide to Birds, Second Edition, which went on sale on March 11. David has begun a massive cross-country tour and will be in Tucson for an event at Tucson Audubon’s Mason Center at 3835 W Hardy Road, 85742, for two hours. to discuss his prolific work.

David Sibley is the author of the best-selling first edition of The Sibley Guide to Birds which has been used by millions of birders and has become the standard by which natural history guides are measured.

The new book is a completely revised edition of the landmark New York Times best seller, with more than 600 new paintings and 111 rare species added, new information on habitat and behavior, and more tips on finding species in the field.
