Strike up the band! Multi-platinum-selling, two-time Emmy and five-time Grammy Award-nominated, pianist and vocalist Michael Feinstein returns to Tucson on Sunday March 9 at 7 p.m. at Centennial Hall

Considered one of the premier interpreters of American standards, Feinstein's live appearances have included Carnegie Hall, Sydney Opera House, the Kennedy Center and the Hollywood Bowl, not to mention the White House and Buckingham Palace.

Feinstein was Ira Gershwin’s assistant for six years, providing access to numerous unpublished Gershwin songs. Performing with a big band, this evening will celebrate the music and legacy of the Gershwin brothers, including Feinstein’s personal stories and recollections from his book, The Gershwins and Me.

Parking is free in the Tyndall & Main Gate Garages on Sundays.

Cost: $30. For more information and to buy tickets, visit http://uapresents.org/michael-feinstein
